YOUTH CO-SPONSOR BREAKFAST NOV. 9
The youth and the choir will be serving a buffet breakfast for the congregation
Sunday, Nov. 9, after the church service. A free-will offering will be taken to
put toward the Mangolds’ electric bill. Supplemental funds are being applied
for from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Invite your friends to join you for
church and this event. No pre-sign up is necessary.
Due to deer season and Thanksgiving, there will be no youth events until
December. The youth will once again be serving Advent meals after
worship each Wednesday, December 3, 10, and 17. The 17th will
be the Sunday School Christmas service at 5:30.
Last month our service project was to rake yards. We did two big yards on
October 19th followed by a pizza party at Townsend Shell. Eight youth and
three adults participated.
The youth will once again be doing a candle sale for Christmas. You can
order your candles from any youth member or at the display table in the
fellowship hall each week. Orders need to be made by Dec. 3.
We collect aluminum cans year-round. Please toss your well-tied bag (cans only)
into the pen by the garage. Thanks for your help. We are able to raise about $100
per month this way.
