HEARTS FOR JESUS project is helping a Peruvian village with funds for improved water and agricultural systems, and education. Boys and girls have offering boxes and are encouraged to save a quarter a day.

ATTENDANCE Saturday was 75, Sunday 125, total 200.

BARBERSHOP Quartet sings the National Anthem at tonight's Wabeno basketball game, 7:30.

THIS WEEK both bellchoir and voice choir meet as scheduled Tuesday. Pantry will have open hours Wednesday 9-10 and 6-7.

DON'T FORGET the organ fund. We are more than half way to our goal of $53,000. The organ is due to arrive in two weeks.

GEORGE McGUIRE awoke from his comatose state Friday. Diagnosis is a liver infection exacerbated by diabetes. Thanks for all your prayers.
Our Christian Volunteers are looking into a project to help clean George's house and living environment which is thought to have contributed to his illness.

THE C.A.R.E. CLUB support group for caregiviers will meet Thursday February 9 at 2 pm at Lakewood Town Hall

ASH WEDNESDAY service at St. John is February 22, 5:30. A soup/sandwich meal foolows the service prepared by youth and parents.

NEW MEMBER WELCOME Brunch Palm Sunday, April 1, following service.

THE EASTER Committee will meet February 22 following the Lenten Service and meal.

2ND ANNUAL Spring Ladies Tea is set for Friday March 30 at 6:30 pm.

NEW ALLEN ORGAN is due to arrive February 20, give or take a week. We would like to have the full amount for purchase without borrowing. About $22,000 yet needs to be collected.
Organ fund envelopes are available in the Gathering Place at church. Each key on organ works out to be $350.
The new sound system will be installed a week before the organ.

WOMEN OF GRACE help their first meeting on Jan 16 and were encouraged that 17 ladies attended. They have decided to study Women Of The Bible. The next meetng will be Feruary 20th at 4:30.

OUR CHURCH BUILDING Fund mortgage has been paid off over two years ahead of time! If you have been making monthly contributions, please consider changing your pledge to the Organ Fund. The mortgage burning ceremony is scheduled for June 10 at our outdoor service (thought it would be safer that way!)
