RODGERS ORGAN rep Val Bartlein was at St. John Tuesday evening to present some of the features of the Rodgers Organ and assess our future music and worship- leading needs.
The next step is to hear an actual demonstration. Mr. Bartlein suggested us visiting the Clintonville installation and also one in Abrams. The opportunity for this visit will probably be on a Saturday in early May.
Pastor Mueller has served at two congregations where a Rodgers organ was installed and he personally seems impressed by what Rodgers has to offer.
A Rodgers comes with a ten year warranty on parts and service. The size and complexity of the organ will depend on the needs of the congregation and what financing they choose.
Modern technology has digitally reproduced pipe organ sounds and the sound of the electronic organ is virtually the same as a pipe. Also a lot of instrumentation and percussion can be added, and the organ can also be programmed to play back pre-recorded music and provide background for live organists.
