CAMP LUTHER has informed us that a drowning occurred at the camp Saturday night. A 51 year old male who had attended a wedding Saturday at the camp went for a swim at 12:30 am, jumped off the diving board, and was not seen again until rescuers pulled his body from the water. Please pray for the family of this man and also our camp personnel who, no doubt, are distressed by this incident.
THRIVENT supplemental funds have been approved by the Oconto
Chapter to help with the Tony Bleier benefit at Lakewood Town
Hall Sat., Sept. 11, 11-7.
Tony was injured in a fall from a roof and had serious head
trauma.
COMPOSER Ken Medema has a concert at Wabeno High Auditorium Sunday, Sept. 26, 6 pm. He wrote "Bound For Greater Things."
NEW ORLEANS youth are planning a report to the congregation for Sunday, Sept. 19 following the church service. A free breakfast will be served.
