Born in New York City October 15, 1949.  Attended Immanuel Lutheran School, Flushing High
School (1967), Queens College of the City University of New York (1971), later taking a teaching
colloquy into the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod at Concordia, Bronxville (1978).
Taught five years at Immanuel Lutheran School, Whitestone, NY; Elected member of Community
School Board 25, Board of Education, City of New York (1973-75); Camp Director at Camp of the
Pines, Pottersville, NY, '77-78; DCE Holy Cross, Greenbelt, MD (1978-88); DCE St. John, Townsend,
WI, 1988 to present.
