Dear members of St. John:

After much deliberation in prayer in consideration of your call extended to me to serve as Pastor of St.
John I have been led by the Holy Spirit to accept your call with great joy.

I look forward with anticipation in working with you as together we extend Christ's Word and
 works in Townsend and the surrounding community. May we grow together in faith and love as we serve our Savior!\par}

I continue to request your prayers during this time of transition. Many things need to be attended to
 in such a move to a new mission field. I also would request your prayers for Bethlehem
 Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie where I presently serve.

My wife and I look forward to learning more about you and the people of Townsend. You have already
 shown kindness and care to us when we visited several weeks ago. May our gracious
 Lord bless us and watch over us during this exciting time. I hope to learn more
 details about the coming move with your help over the next weeks.

May my upcoming ministry among you bring glory to His name.
